My favorite tour
As car bloggers to get around so often times. Runs a variety of new models and looks always something new.
But what was the best tour I've ever done?
Briefly thought about it and already I knew, Croatia.
Who now believes that I'm driven with a new Audi or Mercedes, wrong. No, it was a trip with my father and an old VW bus built in 1976. We were on our way to Croatia for VW Beetle meeting in Rovinj.
But why this tour?
Quite simply, it was a comfortable ride without time pressure in a spacious old car through a beautiful landscape of Slovenia to the finish of the beautiful Croatia and the breathtaking natural scenery of Rovinj.
In this ex-Fire VW Bus T2 was allowed to have no time pressure, because we were with a top speed of 115 km / h on the road. Uphill, we went ahead even slower. You would not believe if you so comfortable that passeth away, what do you get everything to face. After about 7einhalb hours relaxing ride, one short break, a tank stay, waiting time at the border with Croatia and many great conversations with my dad, we arrived at the meeting beetles.
The route took us through Granz, Slovenia - Maribor, Ljubljana, Trieste to Croatia - Rovinj.
A dreamlike atmosphere suggested to me. The people of Rovinj were happy to see so many old cars and waving at us warmly. The old town we visited and although you do not usually allowed to drive into the old town. This was only opened for us on this special day.
In the old town, the vehicles were placed in the middle of town and right on the busy harbor. The people were all excited and have marveled at the old Volkswagen.
I immediately took advantage of the opportunity and fortess Rovinj with its narrow streets, beautiful buildings, beautiful scenery and the sea. So I took some pictures of various beautiful designs which gave me the old town.
Only downside, I had to go into the sea and absolutely. Slippers without Anyone who has ever been there knows the beach and consists of many sharp stones. Of course, I cut my foot. Anyway, but because you realize how nice it was in Rovinj - I could not discourage me to see even more.
At this great and for me well until now cruising, you realize sometimes less is more. Although I had no air conditioning, reversing camera or ABS and ESP, for me this trip was unforgettable. I had time, I could see the landscape, went with my dad and saw many old air-cooled Volkswagen, like they have been maintained and restored by the people in Croatia.

"Exploding Meteor in Croatia
SUPER-BOLIDE: On Wednesday, July 25th at approximately 10:...egory of superbolides--exploding meteors of magnitude -17 or brighter. They are, essentially, small asteroids measuring a few to 10 meters in diameter and massing a few hundred metric tons. Superbolides trigger seismic detectors on the ground, produce waves of infrasound that can travel thousands of miles, and they are tracked by military satellites scanning Earth for nuclear explosions.
