Tour of Slovenia, Malori 5th in the time trial opening

Stopwatch friend less than usual for Adriano Malori (archive photo Bettini) on the opening stage of the Tour of Slovenia, a time trial of 8.8 kilometers through the streets of Ljubljana.

The Lampre-MERIDA, two wins in assets in 2013 stopwatch, recorded the time of 10'11, 16 "more than the best performance achieved by Tuft.
Good test for Richeze, eighth.

"Stopwatch short and fast, with a very technical final kilometer and a largely cobbles - said Malori - I'm not able to get a fast start, finding therefore at a disadvantage compared to Tuft, on which I had the references given that had already concluded his evidence.
I upped the pace and managed to get half feels the same time Canadian runner, but then I went falling, suffering finally pave the stretch in which Tuft was very good.
Too bad not being able to get a result, it would be a good approach to the Italian championship, for which, however, remain focused and confident. "

1 - Tuft 9'55 "
2 - Lancaster 10'01 "
3 - Oveckin 10'02 "
4 - Langeveld 10'08 "
5 - Malori 10'11 "

"Under pressure from sponsors accustomed to his now-aging squad’s dominating victories of the past, Radio Shack’s Johan Bruyneel adopted a novel approach to selecting the members of his 2011 TDF squad (average age: 53).
“I got to thinking, why come to the Tour with a single team leader?” Bruyneel explained. “That gives you – what – a one in nine chance of victory? And then it all clicked …’t break a hip.”
The approach seems to be paying off during week one. Despite crashes that have dimmed the hopes of Americans Levi Leipheimer and Chris Horner and the exit of Slovenia’s Jani “Erin” Brajkovic (who suffered a concussion and a broken collarbone after slipping in a pool of Andre Greipel’s tears), the team continues to field six bald GC contenders — more than any other team."

I would love it if its cold, hilly, green, beach etc., I dont wnat any crowded city area or deserts.. I cant afford a lot of money too. May be i can spend around 4000 dhirams inclusive of flight tickets.. Pls let me know if you know any such place.

    • Kerala (India) is amazingly green and has great beaches - abt 4.5 hour flight.

Turkey has areas that are green, hilly - cold in winter anyway - 4 hour flight.

Both of these two destinations can be done pretty cheaply.
