Slovenia map ,y cuenta con poco más de dos millones de personas. Slovenia is a small country, has about half the size of Switzerland ,and has just over two million people.But the only way to describe this little country called Slovenia (Slovenija) is like a mouse that roars.
,Austria ,Hungría ,Croacia y el Mar Adriático. Slovenia is an independent republic whose countries bordering Italy ,Austria ,Hungary ,Croatia and the Adriatic Sea.Slovenia has received a lot of nicknames since its independence in 1991,such as miniature Europe,the sunny side of the Alps,The green part of Europe and although it may sound like a travel brochure,all these nicknames of Slovenia match reality .

In Slovenia there, from the beaches,snowy mountains,hills full of vineyards and wide plains covered with sunflowers,to Gothic churches,baroque palaces,historic castles and art nouveau civic buildings make Slovenia offers more diversity than European countries that are many times larger in area and population.
Its incredible mixture of climates brings warm Mediterranean breezes up to the foothills of the Alps,where there may even be snow in summer.Eslovenia es realmente uno de los países con más zonas verdes en el mundo y en los últimos años se ha convertido también en actividades patio de recreo para todos los europeos. With more than half of its surface completely covered with forest,Slovenia is actually one of the greenest countries in the world and in recent years it has also become playground activities for all Europeans.

In the northwest corner of the country are the Julian Alps with the picturesque Lake Bled and the Soca valley and the country's highest peak,Mount Triglav in the middle of Triglav National Park.Other mountain ranges include Kamnik-Savinja Alps,Karavanken and Pohorje,popular with skiers and hikers.

Most famous caves are the Postojna Cave with more than 28 million visitors,and caves List of UNESCO Škocjan.The region Slovenian Istria meets the Adriatic sea,where the most important historical monument is the Venetian Gothic Mediterranean city of Piran,Portoroz while the city draws crowds in summer.

To enter one Schengen country is to gain up to 90 days of continuous travel between the member states.     I would love it if its cold, hilly, green, beach etc., I dont wnat any crowded city area or deserts.. I cant afford a lot of money too. May be i can spend around 4000 dhirams inclusive of flight tickets.. Pls let me know if you know any such place.

    • Kerala (India) is amazingly green and has great beaches - abt 4.5 hour flight.

      Turkey has areas that are green, hilly - cold in winter anyway - 4 hour flight.

      Both of these two destinations can be done pretty cheaply.

    • The lake Bled area: A castle dating back to 1004AD which is located on the top of a very steep cliff, as well as the former summer residence of the former president of former Yugoslavia Tito (Josip Broz) which is nowadays …lively place! Lots of historical & architectural attractions!

      Postojna cave: One of the world's largest Karst caves and the home of the peculiar animal called olm, found exclusively from Postojna caves!
