Sezana Hotels: Find Sezana Hotel Reviews and Rates - TravelPod

Here I am again! Sorry for the long absence but between the seminary and the server would not let me refresh the page these days, I could not write before. The seminar was great, a sort of Big Brother European volunteers arrived to Slovenia in the last months. How could it be otherwise, the majority were Spanish. From a total of 15 volunteers distributed the thing stay like this: 4 Spanish, 3 French, 2 Dutch, one Belgian, one Irish, one Scottish, one Lithuanian, one Polish and one Serbian. It was good to live with so many people and places as diverse!!

I ilusionó especially meet the rest of Spanish, especially Alfonso and Adela, Leon a couple of capital are doing while volunteering can also be occasionally despite working in different projects and cities. The truth is that both are charming, open, friendly and very nice. Alfonso works (like me) in a young center but is in the town of Sezana border with Italy and a few kilometers from Trieste. Adela has your project in a village north of Ljubljana (near where we had the seminar) and works with the disabled. It was a real pleasure to meet you, keep going in the future good times with them.

Then Cristina, another Spanish girl, works well at a young but in Celje is the third largest city in Slovenia (after Ljubljana and Maribor) and play their home games where the national football selection. She is from Barcelona (Vilanova la Geltru to be exact) and although I spent less time with her, I found a person batante also interesting and I hope to see more times while volunteering.

Well in general the seminar was quite an experience. We did a lot of funny games, workshops, a tour, we went to a concert, we went a little party ... but mostly we ate a lot! I think a few kilos win last week. The waiters and the hotel people behaved great with us and we responded to them with a kind of card with cartoons and signed by all as a thank you. I remember an activity in which the Spanish grupeto made a representation of Christmas in Spain and after giving appropriate explanations and the bells start people began to drink the glass with 12 grapes, was funny! Then we explain to them that they had to eat one at a time and they did well. Another moment to remember was the trip we did on Friday. . We first saw a small village called Kamnik he had nothing special and then taken to the Vintgar throats . A total of 1.6 km long between rocks culminating in a beautiful waterfall, a natural spectacle worth seeing!

And after finishing the seminar, sad farewell touched all the friends we made there and walked to Ljubljana. On the way back to the capital spoke with Renaud (Twingo) French volunteer in a project that is in the capital to stay at home to sleep and thus able to party that night. Renaud is a great guy that all you have big (more than 1.90) was simply good person. Then made a call to his colleagues got floor and Judith (Dutch with a volunteer project in Maribor) and I sleep on us to stay home. Alfonso in turn, was left on the floor that night Adela so we left the 5 holiday together. , un sitio que me enamoró y que merece una futura subida explicandoos mas detalladamente como es el lugar. The truth that loved Ljubljana, both day and night but the latter especially since we were in Metelkova Mesto , a site that I love and that deserves a more detailed explicandoos future rise as is the place.

Glad you liked Croatian beer. It is so cheap!
There is suitable accommodation for every budget, From 10$ for rooms and camps, all inclusive cheap socialistic monster hotels to beautiful Hilton right at the Dubrovnik walls, Esplanade in center of Zagreb or Hotel Peristil inside of historic Diocletian palace in Split (double 120 –150$).
Mostar in Bosnia should be also visited, especially during diving competition from the 28 m high bridge. They have done amazing work to restore it after war destruction.
Bled in Slovenia is gorgeous, for a day or two visits. Many private rooms and hotels are located just around the lake.

No problem

Other than travelling with a very young child, you should have no real problems. Slovenia and Croatia are great. You don't say how you plan to travel, but the trains are fine, the roads tend to be narrow with limited highways. Both capital cities are nice small cities (Ljubljana is nicer n my opinion).
Bled (SL) and the rural surrounding area of mountains and lakes are incredible. Dubrovnik (HR) and many of the nearby islands are great, but I encourage you to take the ferry to/from Split versus driving over. You can easily take the train from Zagreb to Split, but the ferry or bus is the option from Split to Dubrovnik

Sweetest treat: Some folks swear by macaroons in Paris, but I'll take the crème cakes in Lake Bled, Slovenia; thin pastry with custard-like crème and vanilla and powdered sugar.
